Baker Beers

Associate

Baker is a strategic and creative problem-solver who helps individuals, families, and business owners plan for the future and protect what they have built. His practice brings together transactional planning and dispute experience, giving him a clear understanding of how legal decisions function not just in theory, but in real life. He advises clients on estate planning, asset protection, business structuring, outside general counsel matters, real estate, and probate.

Baker’s transactional work is informed by his experience handling complex disputes, including partnership and ownership conflicts, fiduciary litigation, contract claims, and third-party liability matters. Having seen how poorly designed plans can unravel under stress, he approaches every structure with a focus on durability, clarity, and long-term performance. His goal is to help clients implement strategies that remain effective as circumstances change—whether within a family, a business, or a broader economic environment.

Much of Baker’s work involves building integrated solutions for closely held businesses and families with operating companies, real estate holdings, or multi-generational planning needs. He works closely with clients and their advisors to design structures that balance flexibility, control, and risk management, while remaining practical and administrable over time.

Baker’s practice is grounded in long-term relationships and a genuine commitment to client trust. He takes the time to understand each client’s priorities so he can provide thoughtful guidance at every stage—from proactive planning to unexpected challenges. As part of a firm founded by his father nearly three decades ago, Baker values a hands-on, personal approach to the practice of law and is committed to providing steady, strategic counsel to clients across Texas.
